28th April 2007
Windsurfing: Portland Harbour
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: 20 knots
Surf / Sea State: Flat (ish)
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature:
Weather: overcast
Max Speed: 22.6 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 7.1 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

I'd organised an early(ish) session for Saturday morning as the forcast was good but looked like it was going to drop around 10am. I was woken by a text from my friend from Weymouth to say it didn't look windy from his window so wasn't going to bother. I looked out of my window (on Portland) and the trees were swaying, so I convinced him to meet down at the harbour. I'm glad we did, it was blowing nicely if not a little bit lumpy for the harbour. Had a good hour from about 8:30 'til 9:30 when it started to drop. The tide was on the way out and because of the wind direction kept finding the bottom especially on the gybes. After a shakey start made some good gybes towards the end.
